I grew up in Chicago and moved away 22 years ago. I will never move back. Here are my top 10 reasons:
1. The weather!
2. The violence
3. The traffic
4. The corruption
5. The costs
6. The politics
7. President Obama
8. Mayor Emanuel
9. The congestion
10. Sprawl
Chicago is still a great place to visit. I will always support the Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks. I remember the city of my youth but it does not exist anymore.
I just realize we could have had Mike Ditka as president--remember he thought of running for the same office Obama won? President Ditka!
